Nanobots stopping heart attacks

The idea of nanobots roaming inside you cleaning up all the plaque in your arteries and thus preventing cardiovascular disease seems not so sci-fi anymore. Stanford researchers have created a nanotherapy that reduces plaque by 40% in both female and male mice with less advanced plaque, and reduces plaque by 20% in male mice with more advanced plaque.
